  1. My favorite memory of this summer was spending time with my family around the firepit at night.

  2. My favorite memory of this summer is my family vacation with my husband and sons. We went to Colorado and Arizona and toured all of the wonderful sites- it was a great trip for us!

  3. My favorite memory was being able to go see the grandkids while they were out of school this summer. You don’t realize how much you miss when everyone is not right where you are!!

  4. We live right across from the graveyard and so I’ve been taking the kids for walks through the paths over there at different times of the day, just to get them used to it and not afraid. It’s been a great time to talk and just spend time together. The other kids at school are now starting to question how spooky it is for them, but we insist that our kids are tougher for it and there is nothing to be scared of. Besides, we remind them that it is a privilege to be close to where people’s loved ones have been laid to rest. It is a special memorial to those who have lived in our town before us and it is to be respected, not feared.

  5. My fav memory was watching the kids come back from my ex-inlaws – they ran out of the car and up to my door and both hugged me tight. I guess they missed me too!

  6. My favorite memory of this summer is spending time with my adult sons at the mall, movies, & restaurants..thanks.

  7. My favorite memory of this summer was turning 41 on July 4th, and having friends and family with me.

  8. My favorite memory of the summer was going to the beach ( Folly Beach) with my mother in law and the younger kids and just hanging out with some friends there for the whole day! Best day so far this year!

  9. My favorite memory of this summer was planting flowers with my 2 year old grandson. Once a week I take him out to show them how much they have grown.

  10. My favorite memory of this summer was feeling sun on my face, and a soft breeze in my hair… as opposed to frostbite on my face and snow on my head.

  11. My favorite memory of this summer was spending the day with my grandson on his 6th birthday just 2 days ago! 🙂

  12. My favorite memory of this summer was wandering the woods near our home picking raspberries and blackberries with my son.

  13. being able to put in a veggie garden and enjoy and share all the fresh vegetables with friends and neighbors.

  19. My favorite summer time memory was reading tons of books for leisure. I don’t get to do that very often anymore. As a kid i did though.

  20. Although we live just minutes from the beach, we haven’t gone there much in the past few years because we have had very young kids. This year, my husband took a day off of work and joined a bunch of other surfers enjoying the waves left over from a tropical storm and the kids and I watched him and played in the sand and surf. Later, he joined us and we had a wonderful family time! The weather was also perfect and there were no jellyfish. It doesn’t get better than that! 🙂

  21. I love taking care of my great niece and nephew for two weeks. Being with children make the summer days so much fun going to the park, swimming and riding bikes.

  22. My favorite memory of the summer was getting our newest pet member of the family, our cat Michael!
