I have loved watching Ellen DeGeneres for so many years. She has pushed for a Finding Nemo 2, or Finding Dory, on The Ellen DeGeneres show for as long as I can remember. Well, we no longer have to wait! Finding Dory hits theaters June 17th, 2016! Meeting Ellen would be a huge check on my bucket list. She is absolutely amazing! Okay, on to the movie…
The beloved blue Tang fish, Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres), is back in an all-new big-screen adventure next summer. Will the friendly fish remember to just keep swimming?
“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
There could never be a Dory without the amazing Ellen. In Finding Dory, the forgetful blue fish will be reunited with loved ones and learn a few things about the meaning of family along the way. Director and Pixar veteran Andrew Stanton says this film takes place about a year after the first film. It features returning favorites Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, among others. We’ll also see a host of new characters as they swim along the California coastline.

One response to “Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory”
I am a big fan of Ellen DeGeneres’, and have watched her since back when she was a stand-up comedienne! She was the best thing in ‘Finding Nemo’, so I’m really glad Dory got her own movie! It looks really good, and I thought the use of the song “Have You Seen Her?” was really funny.
