Best Natural Food for Cats
I love my cats so much! I was so excited to be able to participate in this Rachael Ray Nutrish for Cats program.

I have nine cats. I know, it’s excessive! I have loved them since I was little. I have a huge scare across my face from my very first cat, Baby Kitten. I even got cat scratch disease a few years ago and had to have the lymph nodes in my groin removed. I am not a crazy cat hoarder. I promise. We live on a large farm so they have many barns they enjoy and have an amazing life. They are very spoiled! For some reason cats just keep showing up here. I think everyone in the area knows I love cats so they keep dropping strays off here or something. We found one across the road in the ditch, one in our pasture, one in our alfalfa field and the list goes on. One thing that is very important to me is finding them the best natural food for cats.
I already feed my cats an all natural cat food. They get mostly dry food but I also divide up a few cans of wet food every day for all of them. You should see me try to feed them all. I divide it up in separate dishes. One for each. I try to place each one down quickly or the first one eats the last ones food. It’s quite amusing. I had been feeding them a leading brand of cat food from WalMart. They got to where they were throwing up a lot after eating it but it contained some type of coating that made it seem like they were addicted to it. I done some research online and found that I should be feeding them a natural cat food with protein. Cats do not need a bunch of grains. They are meat eaters.
Cats are extremely picky eaters. When I switched their foods it took them a few days before they were eating back to normal. I felt so bad but they absolutely had to be off the other food. Feeding them an all natural food for cats is so important to their diet. After just a day of switching their diet they were not throwing up anymore. Incredible! The only downside to the natural cat food I switched them to was the cost. It is over $20 for a 5 lb. bag. With nine cats you can imagine how much that costs per week! That is one reason I was excited to try Rachael Ray’s Nutrish for Cats. Although it is a premium natural cat food, it is much more affordable than any other brand that is comparable to the ingredients. I love that!

Do you know how many cat foods there are on the market that are actually by-products? If you don’t know what that is you might want to do some research. I don’t feed my family by-products so why would I feed that to my cats? Take it from someone that has worked in a meat locker. You do not want to eat it!
Nutrish for cats is the best natural food for cats because it doesn’t contain any junk! NO JUNK! There’s no meat poultry by-product meal, artificial flavors or preservatives. Look at the cat food you are using now. Does it contain artificial flavors or preservatives? That’s probably why your cat thinks it is so delicious but it is not good for them. Stop feeding this junk to your precious cats. They may be stubborn and not want to eat something new but trust me, they will come around. My cats did!

I love that this contains no fillers or anything artificial.
I like the size of this cat food and leaving the grains out makes me want to feed this to my cats. Mine had been throwing up too on some brands.

I love how now pets have such healthier choices. I feed my cat Chicken Soup for Cat Lovers Soup.
Never mind the cat, this looks good enough for me to eat. In all seriousness (being a cat owner), I would much prefer to give him what he needs in hopes that he will live a long, healthy life. Most owners will have to see their pets pass away, but if you can keep them healthy and squeeze a few more years of love out of them, its worth the effort.
I worry about my cats’ food all the time. With all of the by-product ingredients, it sounds so bad. But, my first cat is about to turn 18, and has been eating the same brand of food her whole life. Also, I am on a fixed income, so I do the best that I can! And both my cats seem to be doing pretty well, even though I would love for them to be on an all-natural diet.
I hope it comes in pate. My cat is pushing 18 human years and pate is all she will eat.
